L'elettrolucidatura \u00e8 un processo elettrochimico utilizzato per migliorare la finitura superficiale di un pezzo rimuovendo il materiale per livellare picchi e valli microscopici. Questo processo pu\u00f2 lucidare, passivare e sbavare i pezzi. Questo processo funziona in modo opposto a quello dei processi di placcatura, in quanto il pezzo agisce come anodo nella reazione. Quando la corrente attraversa il pezzo (anodo), la superficie viene ossidata e dissolta nella soluzione al catodo.

L'elettrolucidatura \u00e8 molto utile per lucidare parti irregolari con superfici difficili da raggiungere.
