Le nickelage est un proc\u00e9d\u00e9 utilis\u00e9 pour d\u00e9poser par \u00e9lectrolyse une fine couche de nickel sur une pi\u00e8ce m\u00e9tallique. Ce placage peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 pour r\u00e9sister \u00e0 la corrosion et \u00e0 l'usure, ainsi qu'\u00e0 des fins d\u00e9coratives. Une fois les pi\u00e8ces d\u00e9barrass\u00e9es des d\u00e9bris, elles sont immerg\u00e9es dans une solution \u00e9lectrolytique.
