Le rev\u00eatement de conversion au chromate, plus connu sous le nom de film chimique ou sous le nom de marque Alodine, est un rev\u00eatement chimique qui passive et prot\u00e8ge l'aluminium de la corrosion. Il est \u00e9galement utilis\u00e9 comme couche de base avant d'appr\u00eater et de peindre les pi\u00e8ces. La norme la plus couramment sp\u00e9cifi\u00e9e dans les applications d'ing\u00e9nierie est MIL-DTL-5541F, qui se r\u00e9f\u00e8re sp\u00e9cifiquement au rev\u00eatement des alliages d'aluminium.<\/p>

Cette couche protectrice est beaucoup plus fine qu'une couche d'anodisation et, bien que toutes deux soient cr\u00e9\u00e9es par immersion des pi\u00e8ces dans un bain, l'alodine est un simple rev\u00eatement chimique et le processus n'utilise pas de courant \u00e9lectrique.<\/p>

L'alodine est un proc\u00e9d\u00e9 l\u00e9g\u00e8rement moins co\u00fbteux que l'anodisation, bien qu'il soit plus sujet aux rayures, \u00e0 l'usure et aux dommages cosm\u00e9tiques. La couleur la plus courante du rev\u00eatement est un or verd\u00e2tre iris\u00e9, et il peut donc \u00e9galement \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 \u00e0 des fins cosm\u00e9tiques. Toutefois, cette couleur provient du chrome hexavalent, qui est toxique. Pour des raisons de conformit\u00e9 \u00e0 la directive RoHS, il existe \u00e9galement des versions transparentes du rev\u00eatement.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
