Elektropolering er en elektrokemisk proces, der bruges til at forbedre overfladefinishen p\u00e5 en del ved at fjerne materiale for at udj\u00e6vne mikroskopiske toppe og dale. Denne proces kan polere, passivere og afgratte delene. Processen fungerer p\u00e5 den modsatte m\u00e5de af pletteringsprocesser, da emnet fungerer som anode i reaktionen. N\u00e5r str\u00f8mmen passerer gennem delen (anoden), oxideres overfladen og opl\u00f8ses i opl\u00f8sningen til katoden.

Elektropolering er meget nyttig til polering af uregelm\u00e6ssige dele med sv\u00e6rt tilg\u00e6ngelige overflader.
